2nd at Outlaw Full 🤩 * This distance seems to b 2nd at Outlaw Full 🤩 * This distance seems to be my Olympics, as the last and only one I've done, was 4 years ago 😅. * I certainly enjoyed this one a lot more... Swim 🏊‍♀️- wow what a venue. Loved most of it (other than getting kicked in the face) Bike 🚵‍♀️ - great route but we had a horrific head wind most of the way around which made the fast decents rather slow 😨 Run 🏃‍♀️- a really nice route and the wind was actually a relief from the heat other than when it made you grind to a hault running around the lake 😅 * Thank you @outlawtriathlon for a cracking event * Congratulations @clairewellertri for absolutely smashing it. I think this photo sums up my race 😅 * The good I think this photo sums up my race 😅 * The goods news was my legs turned up. I had a lot of fun on the fast flat sections at the end of the bike leg (not so much the hilly first half🥴). * The bad news my legs were tired from very little rest since 70.3 Gdansk. This was expected as it was a training race to prep me for Outlaw Full in a few weeks time. But still it's hard to stomach when you give it your all and you don't seem to be going anywhere 😅. There is certainly no hiding on the run course * For now at least it's a rest & recovery week. With @injuryactive massages & family time to get my mind and body back ready for the full 🙈😀 * Well done to everyone racing. It was so nice to catch up with people and see so many friends both racing and supporting.
