A New Benchmark
Yesterday I competed in my first half ironman (middle distance triathlon) at Graham Water in Cambridgeshire. Before yesterday I had never raced further than 10km (running race), so the half marathon at the end was a bit of a step up to say the least. The total distance of a half ironman is a 1.9km
A learning curve
Race season is officially underway! I’ve just finished my 2nd race in the space of 2 weeks, which has been a bit of a shock to the system. Saffron Walden Sprint Tri (pool based) was my first one last weekend and I also entered the St Neots Standard distance race today (in a river). I
